Hey all! My name is Kimberly Dudeck, and I am a recent graduate from Stockton University located in southern New Jersey. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, where I had a tendency to focus my studies on forestry and wildlife management. I was given an amazing opportunity to take a 16-day course on International Sustainable Development in Brazil, in January of 2017. I think it's safe to say that I definitely started my year off right! The purpose of this blog is to be able to share my experiences with the world, and to look back on my journey through the breathtaking country of Brazil.
We spent time in four different cities during the span of our trip. Our first destination was Manaus, second was Rio de Janeiro, then we flew to Curitiba, and ended our adventure in Foz do Iguacu. Incredibly enough, we flew NINE times over the course of the two weeks. I can honestly say that this trip has made me a pro at navigating my way through airport security and customs. Each tab above contains reflections from every day spent in the various cities, as well as pre-trip assignments that we were required to complete prior to traveling. ENJOY!!! |
